Brüno film has renewed my enthusiasm for running the big events. The buzz of running alongside other competitors was too hard to resist. So I decided to take part in Liverpool’s next Half Marathon! At the moment I’m running a short distance 5 evenings a week. I will need to increase my distance significantly over the coming months. I am lucky that I have a neighbour who will train along side me and will run the race too.

It’s nice to get so many e-mails sent in with your fantastic comments, many thanks. Alan Rothwell, the organiser has proved that Liverpool can certainly pull off a spectactular Santa Dash. I will be looking forward to next years event with the determination to beat off stiff competition from Newtown in Wales again!
