took place on Saturday December 9th 2006, one week after Liverpool’s annual gathering of the santa faithful. Similar to Liverpool’s race, the 5K Fun Race and 1 Mile Walk draws world-wide attention with hopes of breaking the Guinness World Record for the Largest Santa Gathering. Some how, I think Liverpool will retain it this year!

At the time I filmed the people at registration they said it was very close to 5000…but this was maybe an hour before the race. I was trying to get the final number, but they said it would be on the organizers website – Opportunity Village
. The weather was great, I think the biggest complaint was it’s a bit warm in the suits…
The video is quite long but is accompanied by some festive music to get you all in the mood.
