I am a journalism student at Liverpool John Moores University.
I am currently writing a piece on the Santa Dash and was wondering if you could quickly answer some questions for me:

1. How many people took part in this year’s event?
2. How much money was raised?
3. Did this year’s event beat the previous world record?
4. If you took part, what were your experiences of the race?

None of my work is published, just used for coursework. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, We thought it was a great idea to support the event this year and raise a few bob for worthy charities. So, a few of us from Wirral and most of us over 50 plus along with a couple of younger santa’s one 17 months ran the race. The little feller and his dad supported us and in particular cheered his mum on. What a brillant day we had even though the weather earlier on was vey wet. We will be back next year to experiance another typical Liverpool electric atsmosphere, ok, its infectious.
