IT’S A BLUE SANTA INVASION ON DECEMBER 6TH!
The Everton Foundation team will bring a splash of colour to the Festive 5K.
It should be easy to spot the Evertonians in the annual Santa Dash this year as the Everton Foundation are arranging a team and they will all be sporting blue Santa suits – which will be a welcome change from the traditional red!!
Last year there were more than 7,000 Santas taking part and they turned the city centre into a sea of red – however, Everton Foundation Fundraising Manager, Rowena Finn, has decided to ring the changes on December 6th by organising her own team to take part.
Anyone running on behalf of the Everton Foundation will be given the limited edition Blue Santa suit to run in. The team will have a limit of 500 and places will be available on a first – come – first – served basis.
Rowena said – “the idea of a blue Santa suit is certainly different and I know that many Evertonians have been asking in recent years about blue suits rather than the traditional red. I’m sure they will go down well with the Evertonians.”
